What people are saying about Dublin
John was an excellent tour guide, who gave thought provoking and interesting commentary to all the sites we visited. I came away full of new knowledge about Irish politics and history. John also has a wonderful sense of humour, taking selfies with passengers at every stop, making jokes and playing as many funny Irish folk songs as possible! All the stops were a good length, and we had plenty of time to look around, particularly at Glendaloch, where we really had a chance to enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape.
The tour itself was really great, but the best element of it was definitely our guide and his dynamism ! John - the only guide of this family company if I well understood - is an energic, rocknroll and joyful man, who never stops singing, laughing, telling jokes and interesting stories about this country he loves so much. He brought us inside wonderful places of Ireland, and kept giving us the smile during all the tour. Let's join John for a memorable day :)
What a great tour! I was originally skeptical of taking a large-scale tour, but this was so worth it. Easy pick up from O'Connell street and a comfortable bus. The scenery was incredible ... who knew Ireland had such beautiful fall foliage?! Every stop was gorgeous and our guide, John, was full of knowledge (and a bit of humor). Each stop was perfectly timed and the pub lunch was delicious (get the Guinness stew!). I highly recommend this tour!
I had read about the guide's commentary and wasn't sure of how much that could improve the tour, but I understood it. He creates a really nice athmosphere that makes you enjoy everyhting even more. He's passionate about his job and his land. The views are amazing and he takes you to really lovely places. I totatlly recomend it.
The tour itself was amazing, but I have to give at least 50% of all that amazingness to our tour guide, he was absolutely brilliant! Thank you so very much for trying to actually get to know us visitors and for making us laugh the entire time! I have to come back some day, Ireland is simply beautiful!
