What people are saying about Crypt of Santa Reparata
We only had two days in Florence and, because of our oversight, hadn't fully grasped the need to reserve a time for the dome access well in advance. We were concerned that we missed our opportunity to climb the Dome, but thankfully, Getyourguide had this as an option for the next day. Of course, it was 2.5x the regular all-access museum ticket, but we didn't want want to miss out on our once-in-a-lifetime visit. So we spent the money, had a pleasant and informative tour, and got a second all-access pass to all of the Opera Dell Duomo sites. Though we spent more we were grateful to be able to take the tour.
A unique place and must-do thing in a Florence without a doubt. You really want to see the view from all up there, believe me. One of the best views on the city in my life. And definitely, Manuel was an exceptional guide. His passion and interest in Santa Maria del Fiore structure are making him the best guide you can ever wish to spent all this way up with. Kind and happy man. Wish him health and luck.
Jacomo (I hope spelling is correct) was a fantastic guide. It was interesting to learn about the Cupola and how it was made. We stopped and talked along the way making the 400 or so steps not as strenuous. The first climb is the toughest but the views are worth it. We would do it again in a heartbeat! We also enjoyed the Museum towards the back which provided interesting facts. Well worth the price.
Our guide, Manuel, was not only kind and very patient but also so incredibly knowledgeable! He went at the proper pace for the group (since the climb was slightly strenuous) and seemed so excited about what he was talking about. The view was stunning and overall it was just what we hoped the tour would be!
We had such a great tour guide. Informative, humorous and took her time to explain why it’s best to do the tour, the structure and the general history which was mesmerising given the history of he country as a whole. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city
