What people are saying about City of Arts and Sciences
It is always fantastic to visit the Oceanographic. Alway worth to get repeated!!! The only thing I did not like at all regarding the online booking process was the following: I ordered through Get-your-guide my entrance tickets. I got the PDF-documents for the print-out (I was advised to do so!). We went 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby. Waiting in line to go through the entrance at already 30 degrees in the morning, finally it was our turn and then!!! we got advised that this was no entrance ticket - that we would have to go to the cash point! So we had to stand again in line in order to get our "valid tickets" and after that the second time in line to go through the entrance. In my opinion that online booking process does not make any sense at all as at the end it cost us much more time and inconveniences. That is definitely something I was not happy with at all - but other than that the experience and the great time spent in the Oceanographic is always worth to get repeated.
The science museum is great, Hemesferic is really good and Oceanografic is spectacular, and all together these form an incredible daytrip. The buildings and the whole area are spectacular. It was a little annoying you HAVE to print the ticket, and also (at the science museum) you must go to the 'bookings' counter to activate it (not the normal admissions desk)
We spent 6 hours looking around and even late teens enjoyed it all. Dolphin show worthwhile and makes attempt to educate about the perils our seas facing in a fun way. 4D hurricane experience worth the extra. Plan your time around the shows.
Very nice place to visit, especially for families with small children. But also older ones can enjoy it as I did :)
