Not as useful as I was hoping, but still a decent deal.

Got a pair of these 48hr cards for the wife and I, and day one we went to Lisbon Story and then up the hill into Alfama to see the Castle of St. George. It saved us the entrance fee to Lisbon Story, but public transportation up to the Castle was an absolute no-go (this is on a sunny Saturday in April to be fair) because the trolleys were jam packed to the point of being ridiculous, and the bus that was supposed to do the same route up the hill every 15 minutes never showed up despite us waiting for 45 minutes. And to top it off the Castle entrance fee was not included with the card, so day one was a net loss for using the Lisbon card. Day two was a much different story, we took several buses (doing this in conjunction with Google maps is brilliant because Google tells you exactly what buses to take) which were all on time, and managed to see several the national palace, St Jerome's monastery, and could easily have squeezed in one or two others if we chose.

Busy discovering Lisboa to be recommanded

It was a very interesting solution to have all transportations and museums visit free access or reduced fees access. in holidays period those cards don't help/guarantee to avoid the tourist's queue to enter the museums. some of the old trams drivers don't accept the card (saying this is valid only on the new trams and in the metro) and I did buy the first day 3 tickets for old trams ride! I'll recommande this cards to my friends and relatives visiting Lisboa in couple or with older kids.

Useful card if you have plenty of time (and money)

The booklet with the Lisboa Card was very unclear and difficult to read and interpret. Too many options and the vast amount of discount vouchers gived an idea of many possibilities, but the reality is not that rosy. Card was useful for travelling by public transport but compared to normal day-ticket 6,15€) it is quite expensive. Afrer realising that I used the normal day-ticket in public transfer.

Wonderful and easy way to travel around the city.

We took the Metro a lot, busses, trams, even trains all with the Lisbon card, 72 hours. We took a train to Sintra. Not to be missed. It is very unique. We did museums, the arch, the Lisbon Story Centre, etc

Lisboa card invaluable for travelling around the city trouble free !

Great way to explore the city via the tram, metro, train and bus without the hassle of getting tickets. Additional travel to Sinatra etc catered for. Great way of travelling to and from the airport as well.
