What people are saying about Charles Bridge Museum
We were thrilled to be aboard the newest ship in the fleet, the Grand Bohemian. It was so elegant and beautiful! Every effort was taken to set up the perfect dining experience. Expert wait staff and live entertainment by a classical guitarist and bassist made for an exceptional experience. The food was excellent and there was something for every food preference. The view along the river as the sun set provided perfect views of the bridges and the castle among other memories to treasure. The tables with their starched white tablecloths were arranged to allow for privacy or visiting with your neighbors if you wanted. There were also large tables for large parties. I don't think there was a bad seat in the house
We enjoyed our river cruise especially given that it was raining all day so it was nice to be warm and dry. Our captain was great in telling us where places were. They give you a drink and dessert on board. Like other reviews say, you basically just spend 40 minutes driving around in slow circles in the bay because you can’t go past the dams but other than that it was a nice way to pass the time. It was a little pricey for what you get but it was still one of the cheaper options. Unfortunately the museum was closed for a festival also so we couldn’t do that. They said we could come back the next day to do the museum but unfortunately we were leaving.
It was the first time I was visiting Prague, and I spontaneously decided to book the " 3-Hour Prague Castle and Canal River Boat Tour". Our tour guide Lu was fun, very professional, and very knowledgeable. She never got tired to answer all our questions and went above and beyond to show us the beauty of Prague, and its amazing history. Highly recommed!
Organizational skills for boarding and disembarking were a shambles and waiting time was extended when other boats from the new town arrived with people who had also purchased tickets to board. Entry and exit was via one staircase and everyone had to move aside for departing guests.
Best bet is to take the first trip if possible (10:30) because they fill up after that. Our boat only had 10 so was perfect especially for taking pictures. Tour narrative was by use of headsets in many possible languages. Well worth the money- glad we went.
