Most activities were close on New Year's Day, so we couldn't use our pass on day 2. When I called for extension for Jan. 2 and I was only offered entry to one attraction. If I had entry permission to a few attractions that would have been worth. I covered five attractions on day 1, so I could have manage to cover the same number of attractions on day2, but because of restrictions I could only see one attraction on day2.
If in Chicago, need to head over to Navy Pier and try the Centennial Wheel. Since I am not a fan of long waits, I tried the express ticket. Not only did we head to the front of the line, our party had our own gondola. The family loved it. I would have preferred the VIP experience; however, wife is afraid of heights and could not deal with the clear gondola floor. Nonetheless, we had a great time and views were amazing.
Go Chicago Card will be more worth the price during any other seasons than winter. Due to the coldness, some animals in Lincoln Park Zoo could I be exhibited, the boat tours are also unavailable. But overall, this Chicago Card has proven to be worth the bucks.
The five day Go Chicago Card was great value for money and meant I could budget before I travelled. Come rain or shine there was an activity I could do and most of them I could even skip the line. I saved so much money.
I was really excited that we did not have to share the wheel pod with anyone else. Made it easy to move from side to side to see everything as the wheel turned.
