What people are saying about Burano

It's great to spend time with the guide who loves what she's doing

Nice and well organized trip: altogether not too long and not too short. It started with the well chosen meeting point, with a closeby shaded area, where we could take shelter from the sun and enjoy a cool breeze, while waiting for the whole group to assemble. While the glass-blowing show on Murano was impressive, the items in the museum and shop were amazing, though pricey. The lacing shop and colorful buildings on Burano were also interesting. Our guide was Jennifer, who tells lots of anecdotes, both interesting and funny not only about the visited islands, but also about the whole lagoon,. She was helpful and informative about what to see and how to spend the free time and also told us about the upcoming events (firework display), with some additional tips, which best place to pick, etc. My only feedback would be to increase the amount of free time on each island by 15-30 minutes. While the allocated time was quite enough it would be nice not to be in a hurry to make it in time.

Awesome tour. Not quite enough time to see everything.

I really liked our guide Kristina. We learnt alot from her and about the islands. We travelled in a beautiful boat and I really liked, that our tour group was quite small. I liked the glass blowing demonstration. I would have prefered to stay in Burano a bit longer. We didn't even get to look at the island itself. Murano also felt a bit stressful. I feel like the tour should be an hour longer, so that you would have enough time to see both islands. We didn't get to look at the houses, the shops AND sit down for a coffee. Next time I would probably get the public transport bus and take my own sweet time to visit both island.

Venice: Murano and Burano Half-Day Glass and Lace Tour Reviewed by Elisabeth, 05/04/2019

Commentary was informative - the sights were breathtaking!

Murano: The glass blowing demonstration was incredible - if you go into the showroom, bring your wallets ;-) and remember that everyone who speaks to you is a sales person. Burano: Simply gorgeous, could not believe the intensity of the house colours. The lace demonstration was a little boring, and it was difficult for everyone to gather around to see how the woman made the lace.

Glass master at Murano was amazing; Burano is one of the cutest city

Antonella is an amazing guide, born and raised in Venice. She always have a story about the different islands we saw. She clearly loves her job. We spent a wonderfull afternoon thanks to her. Murano was great. The master glass demonstration was very impressive. Burano is a village full of colors, very cute and beautiful. Everybody loved it. Worth the price.

Great tour. Guide (Kristina) was spectacular!

The glass blowing was incredible to see in action. They even made a dancing glass horse in the moment. I should've walked around Murano although the glass gallery was exquisite. I wasn't interested in the lace of Burano but the town was bright, lively, and fun. Even the boat ride at sunset was quite a treat. Very recommended.
