Budapest: Chocolate Workshop Including Tasting
- Learn about traditional Hungarian techniques of chocolate production
- Become a chocolatier and make your own chocolate bar with the guidance of a master
- Embrace the Budapest coffeehouse experience with bonbons and coffee or hot chocolate
Start with a look at the 1920s candy shop and century-old chocolate workshop full of meticulous marzipan sculptures. Learn about where chocolate comes from and see how they prepare the best marzipan, cocoa beans, and dark, milk, white, and ruby chocolate pastilles.
Then, try your own hand at making a chocolate bar with the help of a chocolate master. After a step-by-step demonstration of the molding process, including chocolate tempering on the marble table, it’s your turn. Create and decorate your own 120 gram chocolate bar to take home with you.
Finish your chocolate adventure with an authentic coffeehouse experience. Try some of the museum’s best pralines, and relax with a coffee or hot chocolate.
