Have a 2-hour interactive discovery experience across Budapest. Solve riddles via a web app in your phone’s browser, each taking you from one hidden location to the next. You’ll unlock local recommendations and fun facts, as well as the history of the city.
Discover spots in Budapest that most locals don’t even know. You’ll see popular sights from a different angle (literally!) and explore the streets of one of the most charming neighborhoods in the city, Castle Hill. This place is way more than just a tourist location—discover local cafés and galleries, find curious statues, and wander through hidden passages. Discover Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church, Buda Castle, and get picturesque views of the Danube, the Parliament, and more.
This game was created by two locals, Dora and Adam, who love puzzles, games, and any kind of brain-teaser. This game is suitable for friends, couples, families with kids, and team-building exercises. Enjoy being together while exploring the city, be creative, and use your imagination to uncover the city’s secrets.

- This is a self-guided city discovery experience. There is no tour guide that will join your urban adventure. No one will wait for you at the meeting/starting point. All you need for your exploration will be written in your email from Secret City Trails.
- Games are available in English only.
- There are a few rules to the games, and we’ll remind you of them before playing, but just so you know: every riddle is made up of (cryptic) directions and a question. To answer the question, you can try as many answers as you like. If you’re stuck, you can ask for a hint or skip a riddle.
- The game is played in the browser of your phone. You need a little bit of data, max 2MB. No downloads are required.
