Rainy day, but nice, as it was quiet. Edward, our guide was excellent. He paced the tour well, described what we saw and gave some ideas where to go after the tour. We went to The Turf Tavern for a beer, and had cup of coffee in the Congregation room. Edward answered all our questions, told us interesting anecdotes, and also included just enough personal information to make Oxford more interesting.

The guide was very knowledgeable. He showed us quite a bit. However, we sat for a long time in Balliol College Chapel listening to its history because another group was in Trinity College ahead of us. We ended up skipping Trinity, which was a disappointment.

Overall very nice tour and guide was very informative, however a little advance for a young family of 5. Would have been even better if the guide engaged with the kids too and spoke with language they could understand.

Our 12midday guide on Saturday was excellent, he made us feel welcome and his knowledge of Oxford and University history and student life was very interesting. We did not feel rushed and was disappointed when it ended.

Our tour was interesting, but I would have enjoyed hearing more anecdotes about the past and present alumni father than just a list of who studied where.
