What people are saying about Boston Waterfront
I was absolutely appalled that I ordered on line and had a confirmation of my purchase. I stood in line for the boat ride, but then was told I had to stand in the ticket line (which was incredibly long!) because I needed a hard copy of the ticket from the agent. I thought purchasing the ticket online would have saved me from standing in the ticket line but it didn't. Next time I will just go to the ticket line and not use this service ever again! I enjoyed the ride but not the ticketing process. I will tell everyone to not bother going through this service.
They tell u to get there a half hour early & we all waited on 87 degree weather with no canopy. A woman passed out. We waited for no reason as well. There was no speech or boarding rules announcement. Then when we boarded, they were blasting AC/DC full blast as well as other songs. It is obvious kids on their 20s are running this. But the ride was good. They should provide one final speed up run without a turn to wet you do you can dry.
Everything about this sunset sail was wonderful. We had great weather. The boat was beautiful and the crew was super friendly. They even had blankets for us when it got a little chilly. Beverages were available for purchase and some passengers had brought picnics with them, which looked fun. There were about 30 people on our cruise so it was not crowded and there was ample seating. We would go again!
If you want a great trip on a large sailboat, where they turn off the motor (if you have never done this--you owe it to yourself to try it), and want beautiful sunset views of Boston from the water, then take this cruise. Really nice crew and a very peaceful ride. Cocktails are available and even a blanket if you get cold. All in all a really nice night--our anniversary, but would go anytime!
Friendly staff very knowledgeable outgoing safety oriented. Go on a warm day you will get soaked ponchos or no poncho. I could have done that all day.
