Learn about the daily life of divided Berlin and how east Berliners lived the existence and the fall of their country, the German Democratic Republic (GDR). Visit the most iconic places of the former capital of the GDR using public transport, including the memorial to the victims of the Berlin Wall on Bernauer Strasse.

Next, hit Alexanderplatz and the Karl-Marx-Allee, the monumental Communist avenue.
