Planning Your Visit

What else do I get?

The Berlin WelcomeCard offers holders free travel across public transport networks, as well as discounts at museums, theaters, and almost 200 other attractions. Holders are also treated to discounts at selected restaurants, spas, and on a variety of tours.

What about Museum Island?

The museums on Museum Island aren't included on the standard Berlin WelcomeCard, but visitors can purchase the extended Berlin WelcomeCard Museum Island for additional free access to all five museums on the island (Ancient National Gallery, Ancient Museum, Bode Museum, New Museum, and Pergamon Museum). There is also the Museum Pass Berlin, which allows free access to 50 museums including Museum Island, but this does not include the other WelcomeCard benefits.

What People Are Saying About Berlin

Good for Neus Museum and Jewish Museum - both excellent. Sadly

Very disappointed that no entry to Pergamon Museum without 2 hour Queque - even with musem pass - we had to miss this very important experience we had planned for.

The PERFECT pass for visiting the best museums in Berlin!

Berlin has so many museums, and if you're a museum lover you can't go without this pass.. it will save you money if you're planning to visit more than 3 museums. Definately recommend it! Be sure to research and check out, which museum you'll need to book a spot like the Pergamon Museum you'd need to book to enter within a timeslot. This I've done when verifying the pass near the Tourist Information point near the Brandenburg Gate.

Great. No queueing no change worries and great disounts

Hopped on and off transport whenever we wanted. Used teains trams underground and buses. No worries about having change to pay. Discounts on places of interest also good.

Carefree transport and some great discounts.

Our five day cards allowed us to take the wrong bus/tram at some points :) That will happen, and it's great to know it won't cost you extra.
