We booked the English Tour and we ended up having a private tour for 2 people. The guide Katja rang half an hour before the tour to double check that we were coming and we were able to find the meeting point. Not something that other tour guide company do so often! Our guide Katja was excellent, very informative and ready to give more information when asked. She did a very interesting tour and also she was really discreet and not obvious at all in one contest where it would have been easy to do so. She knows everything about the place and being local she also will tell you the anecdotes about the city of Hamburg. Her English is perfect and I strongly recommend to ask for her for the Tour. The stop at the apartment on the main square is a nice plus given to the tour! A must do in Hamburg!!
My two friends and I are so happy we joined the tour. We had so much fun and met so many great people. The guides did a great job at making sure that everybody knew when we were leaving for the next place, so people didn't get left behind - and was just overall really great guys. Would definitely take the tour again, if we get the chance. We did have a little trouble finding the meeting point. The area shown on the map, was on the wrong side of the road, and as tourists that had just arrived to the city, we were quite confused, but luckily found the group.
The tour was so much fun! Our guide Johanas (Probably not spelt correctly) was great fun, well organised and kept the group together well. The bars and clubs were brilliant and some a little off from the Reeperbahn so not neccessarily places you would stumble across on your travels. Overall my friend and I loved it, drank a lot and met a good bunch of people. I would definitely recommend it! Amazing price too at only £8!!
I have done this pub crawl twice. The shots are very simple, expect to pay for your own drinks. But the night gets great as you travel from bar to bar with the same group of people that will be your friends by the end of the night! The bar selection is also very good.
The Reeperbahn nightlife is very extensive. The guide showed us some nice bars and clubs. The next day, we went back to a few of these clubs. Great recommendations, definitely worth the money! However, more could be done to mix the groups.
