Popular UNESCO Sites in Bavaria

A wonderful tour of a historic, richly cultured city! On top of the beautiful highlighted spots & amusing tales of the famous Salzburgians, we had 2 hours' free time to explore what we liked - such as the interiors of the magnificent Salzburg Cathedral. Of the 12 churches we visited on this European trip it was the most impressive! In the crypt is Boltanski's sculpture and shadow-play show that gave us goose bumps. Awesome. Our was solicitous, knowledgeable, & handy with tips on dining places. Thank you!

Best tour guide who is passionate and knowledgeable. The only comment I have is that I think we needed more time to explore the Rothenburg old town. Three hours including lunch hour is a little too tight. I would suggest extending it for half an hour to an hour so that there is at least 3 solid hours exploring the town plus an hour lunch.

When I reached the meet up location I was told that my guide was sick and could not come. They arranged refund for everyone. I happened to notice that there was another trip that was also gathering there and I was allowed to be on that alternative trip instead. It was unfortunate but I was overall happy for my experience.

Great experience! We spent a lovely time in Salzburg. Our guide was very interesting. He gave us historical information and brought books for us to read in the train. We had time to walk around at a correct pace. He also gave us some recommendations for our free time (2 hours). I really recommend this tour!

Tom was very informative as well as personable. He added a flair to our excursion that only he could have brought. We had a small group, and we got to know each other very well,by the end of the day. Would totally recommend this tour- the town of Salzburg is the most beautiful I've ever seen!!
