Popular Beer Tasting & Brewery Tours in Bavaria

I would definitely recommend this tour. We started off with some beer and some good laughs with the guide Jake who briefed us about the tour while all of the group members gathered. Jake was all in all a fun guide and made the tour great. We all went to the different tour stops by prepaid public transportation and some walking. We went to the Bier & Oktoberfest museum first, where we got 3 beer samples, some beer info and a short tour around parts of the museum. Very good. Then we went to a beer cellar for a bite to eat. We were served a platter of different Bavarian dishes, all great, and drank beer - of course. You pay for the drinks yourself, which is good to know. The tour ended at Hofbräuhaus where you can choose to go in or go elsewhere. I recommend you visit the beer hall, it's loud, rude, the beers are big and the service is interesting. A great Bavarian beer hall! Maybe not a place for deep conversation, but for laughs, German music and great beers.

The walking aspect of the tour was excellent. It allowed you to see a great number of brew pubs in a short period of time. Breweries are not available to see and you need to plan your trip very well as many of the brew pubs have certain hours where they are not open to the public. If you are going to expand your tour to the Kellars, it's also important to note that they do not participate in the voucher program and that they are not traditional 'kellars/cellars' - they are really very nice biergartens.

The tour was awesome. We had a great time, met great people and learned a lot on the tour. Due to this tour we were introduced to other parts of Munich that we ended going out to on other nights which was awesome for being tourists. The tour guide was so nice and friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely recommend it to everyone.

if you arrive in Munich and you don't know where to go to find the best brewery, this is a good choice. You don't need to walk with the map in your hand... Our guide (Eric) was very nice, staying with us for dinner also after the end of the tour. We met a lot of people, spending some funny hours with them.

A fun and educational experience with a fantastic guide in a very casual and friendly environment. Learn history, drink beer, and enjoy a hearty platter of meats and cheeses with good conversation for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for a relaxing way to end the day and learn something new.
