What people are saying about Auschwitz I

Fantastic tour provided by Evelina at Royal Cracow

I can say it was a powerful and moving experience to see these sites firsthand. If you’re visiting Krakow, you must go. Evelina (Royal Cracow Tours) provided a superb tour of Auchswitz and Birkenau. She was extremely knowledgeable of both camps and provided a thorough description of each area visited. She was absolutely marvelous in fielding a myriad of difficult questions from our small group. I’m not sure if there’s to request her by name but if you have an option, pick her. You will glad you did. I opted to have hotel pickup and lunch included in my package and it was well worth it. The Mercedes van was brand new and comfortable. The lunch provided included two sandwiches, fresh fruit (apple and banana) as well a cookie and a bottle of water. The lunch was better than anything at the food stalls and I didn’t have to wait in line for it:). Both sites were very crowded and sometimes hard to maneuver through the sea of people there. Wear comfy shoes - lots of walking.

Service offered by this agency not distinctive to other agencies

Auschwitz visit itself was deeply moving, though what the agency offered was the same as almost all other agencies. This agency, as many others, offered a trip (they left in time and had a proper minivan, friendly driver), and arranges a formal guide and entry slot to Auschwitz. The agency can not select their own guide, groups get a random official guide allocated. So the only thing to review here was the agency's ability to organise a car trip between Auschwitz and Krakow and to arrange a time slot for the group with a guide. Both worked as planned, but should that result in a five star rating from my side? My advice to other readers is that 1) Auschwitz is definitely worth the visit, 2) select a tour from any agency that matches your preferred time slot and pick-up location, because that's probably their only differentiating factor.

Absolutely fantastic and well worth the money

We were informed the previous day of exact time and pick up location. The guide arrived right on time. We head straight to Auschwitz. The tour guide took us around both sites. Her knowledge was excellent. You could see she how passionate she was about the information given to us. She was able to answer any questions asked. In our trip, we booked the lunch option. We were provided with an excellent packed lunch. I was a little worried about doing the tour of Auschwitz as it was such an awful thing to happen but I am so glad I did. I am also glad that I had booked the trip as the cues were extremely long and by booking, we were able to go straight in. I would reccomend this trip to anyone interested.

Take time to visit and realize how grateful you are for your life.

A must to see. My 3 boys got so much out of visiting this camp. A reminder to them to how insignificant the small things we have to deal with in life are in comparison. It was a hot day when we went, there is no real place to stop and cool yourself, if you are very young, old or out of shape this may not be something to do during the summer.

Excellent service and the tour guide was very knowledgable.

Recently toured Auschwizt-Birkenau. The service provided was excellent, kept us informed as to a pick-up time. The tour guide was both friendly and knowledgeable. Disappointed the Birkenau tour was shorter than normal, understand the reason for this decision, due high temperature.
