What people are saying about Arles
Perfect way of experiencing the landscape and wildlife of the Camargue
Our host Sandy was exceptional. Very friendly, great English speaking and so knowledgable with a fantastic sense of humour. She could answer just about anything about the area. We particularly enjoyed seeing the horses, bulls, flamingoes - we also were provided with binoculars. We could stand up in the jeep and really felt like we were on safari. Also, it was a small group and we were teamed up with a lovely couple from Pennsylvania (who also gave us a great recommendation to visit the Carriere Lumieres at Les Baux - so thank you!). This trip was fabulous and well worth the money. and exceeded our expectations.
We had a fantastic afternoon. Vehicle was very comfortable and we were able to stand and look out over top at regular intervals. We saw Camargue horses and Spanish and Camargue Bulls all very close up. Loads of Flamingos, a lot were close up too. Guide (Sandy) was very friendly and very knowledgeable, lots of interesting information. Would highly recommend
Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew so much about the species of birds, where their nest were, as well as the bulls and horses in Camargue. The place itself is a vast and open park, with so many wildlife. It’s definitely not a place to miss if you are in Provence. Going on a 4x4 was a wonderful experience, just a small group which was perfect!
Our guide was just amazing, his name was Djilani!! Luxury BWM, very nice, clean and pristine. He was wonderful and from the moment we met him we knew we were going to have a great time. I would highly recommend him as we did another today, also very nice but it was a different type of tour.
Our driver was very nice, gave us explanations. We saw a bulls, flamingos, horses and had the chance to see the guardians selecting bulls. The timing is fine, not too long nor too short. It’s a very good way tho discover Camargue with kids.
