Marvel at the beauty of the Colca Canyon on a 2-day guided tour from Arequipa. See condors and vicunas, relax in the hot springs, take in spectacular volcano views, and explore local villages.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Head to the spectacular Colca Valley and take in views of the Misti and Picchu Picchu volcanoes en route. Cross the Pampa Cañahuas Vicuna Reserve, and see vicunas grazing in the highlands. Pass typical villages on the drive to the town of Chivay, where you’ll stop for lunch. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to rest and enjoy the lodge or visit the hot springs nearby. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 2
Depart for the Condor Cross viewpoint early in the morning, where you’ll see condors in flights. This huge endangered bird is the symbol of the Andes Mountains. Marvel at the size of the canyon, which is considered one of the deepest in the world. Visit the villages of Maca and Yanque, which feature well-preserved colonial churches. Enjoy lunch before heading back to Arequipa.
