What people are saying about Amsterdam

Great experience and very friendly host!

The whole event was great from the beginning to the end. Bart, the owner of the scooters first explained us the possible five routes and gave some recommendations, while having a cup of coffee. Afterwards we had a short "training session" on the yard to make sure that we understood how to operate the scooters and felt safe driving them. When everything was looking good we left off to our tour, which was really nice: We could explore the beautiful landscape in our own pace and pause whenever we wanted. To not get lost we had gotten a map of the route and there were guiding arrow stickers at every lamp post or traffic sign where it makes sense (i.e. when the road reaches a crossroad or you have to leave the current road). After we arrived back we had another cup of coffee and some nice words with Bart, the owner. We can definitely recommend this activity to anyone who would like to explore the beautiful countryside, but does not like to do such a long trip (about 40-50 km) by bike.

Perfect to see the best part of Holland!

This trip was very nice! We sailed on the Kagerlake and saw a beautiful part of Holland. We went to see a windmill, we visited a flower auction and we got a tour at the cheese farm. The staff was very kind and made a delicious lunch for the group. There were a lot of things to choose from. There was cheese, salmon, eggs, bacon, meatballs and all sorts of bread. It was a great trip and I took a lot of photo’s to keep the memories! I would highly recommend this trip. Huge compliment to our tourguide Daniel who was very kind and told us everything. Thing I liked the most about this trip was the fact that they showed us all the hidden treasures in 1 day without you feeling rushed. We had enough time on every stop and the bus/boat was very comfortable.

Bikin’ on the dikes, we are bikin’ on the dikes...lalala

It was the perfect live-like-the-Dutch day on the bike. The ride was extremely well planned. It took us through the hustle and bustle of city streets, the countryside cobbles lanes, wind mills, an actual sea wall dike, a pumping station, and several quaint small villages. We had cheese, pies and croquettes for lunch at a village pub. It was just perfect! Our guide Riem was friendly, knowledgeable, and protective without being controlling. He was equally at home talking about Dutch history, water management as he was good at fixing a flat. Our small group of 4 people also worked out perfectly. The 4 hour time allowance made it relaxed, as we were not rush from place to place. Highly recommended for everyone!

This is a great tour and I definitely recommend it!

Thank you, this was the highlight of Amsterdam. We went in at the back of the windmill village and got to experience it quietly and private. We went to a little farm where they still make the wooden shoed by hand. We understood that this was the only place around where they still make them by hand. We stayed away from the mass in Volendam and the guide gave us the option to go with him to a local and unique fishing village. Wow, all by ourselves with the locals. Thank you so much to take us of the tracks and show us the real thing tol! Good luck!!!

Got rescheduled after it started, but was a good ride

We originally scheduled our tour for a Sunday. We arrived on time, were given bikes, and set off. But about half way through, the guide discovered that there was a triathlon taking place along our route and we had to turn around. We were told we would get a refund. I was called later and informed that they would not issue a refund but that we could come back the next day and do it again. We did the latter and though the tour was nice, having to go twice ate up a bunch of time. I'm not sure what was done for people who could not come the next day.
