What people are saying about Acropolis Museum

Great tour! Our guide took his time to get to know all of us.

Tour guide was knowledgeable! friendly and took time to answer questions. We travel to other cities in Greece and where able to understand a lot of the history due to this tour. Worth it!

Marita is an excellent guide and wonderful person !

Her knowledge span across several culture amd topic, she is able to give you the full context from an historical, geographical, cultural, mythological perspectives, she is very knowledgeable and a great person to stay with, very enjoyable, and professional We are extremely happy about her and the whole experience

Guide was very knowledgeable and provided in depth answers to question

The last thing on the tour was the Third floor of the Museum - would have liked to visit this earlier in the tour- it was one of the most interesting items on the agenda and it was hard to appreciate when you are hot tired and thirsty Did the French engineer the HVAC system - it was stifling in the museum

Great tour to visit the finest monuments and learn Greek history

Really great tour and our guide Evita was super nice and knowledgeable and a great proponent of Greek culture and history. We saw the best monuments in Athens plus the changing of the guard in a limited time. Would have been hard to do (or understand) without a guide. My only caveat is that the trip is not for the infirm because of the heat and the steep climb in places

If you have only one day in Athens then this is the tour you must take

If you take only one tour in Athens then I would definitely take this 5 hour walking tour. We were guided by a trained archeologist. She gave us a political history overview of Greece and also great detail of ancient history of the various temples, stadium and Acropolis. She also provided interpretation of the statues/sculptures including the mythology of the various gods that the ancient Greeks worshiped. We also were guided through the very impressive New Acropolis Museum by our guide Angela. Angela gave us great information without talking down to us. She was very approachable with wherever individual questions we had. I would strongly urge you to take this tour even if you take no others.
