What people are saying about Whistler
Our driver, Brent arrived to the hotel for pick up on time and from there we headed north to Whistler with a stop in Squamish for facilities and a quick scenic photo op (nice touch.) 2 1/2 hours later we arrived on a beautiful day, the sun was out and it wasn’t too cold (34F.) Brent was informative and gave clear instructions, and even made a great suggestion to opt for the Blackcomb Gondola as there were less wait times. (This was indeed true.) I’m not a skier but enjoyed the ride up and down. The views from the top were wonderful. The Village was beautiful with plenty of dining options and souvenir shops. I was unsure about Whistler at first as snow sports are not my thing but there’s plenty to do whether you’re 3 or 76.
Absolutely best tour yet in Vancouver. Tim our guide was easy to listen to and very knowledgeable. Took the gondola peak to peak getting off at the top for photos and look around in the snow. It even had light snow when we got out. Absolutely breathtaking views. Stopped at the Shannon Falls and a couple of extra stops. Highly recommend this tour and touring company.
Whistler is a famous mountain near Vancouver. I think is better take a tour to know many possibilities and tips. You have to take the Gondola (Peak 2 Peak), it is amazing !!!! If you have time enjoy the village. The bus is clean, safe and the guides are very kindle! Go to Whistler!!!
The scenery was lovely, due to the I'd we did not venture to the top of the mountain . The retail area is very commercialised and expensive Really nice Irish pub Dhub Linn Gate, super friendly bar staff and Good food
Ten stars for Gordie! He gave great information during our tour and made good stops for breaks and photo opportunities. He was really knowledgeable about the area and made the day enjoyable and interesting.
