Full description
Join your guide and small group on an informative and entertaining walk through 150 years of espionage in downtown DC and the White House surroundings. Meet your guide at the Organization of American States and begin your walk through the deep, dark history of spying in Washington, DC.

Explore the spy capital of the world and its cafés, houses, dead drops, bars, hotels, parks, and embassies that served as the “wilderness of mirrors”, the notorious intelligence underbelly of the city. Hear stories of a colorful cast of socialites, businessmen, CIA and FBI agents, government workers, and military personnel. Visit the local haunts where international intrigues were hatched over long, boozy lunches.

Walk in the steps of infamous spies, like the hoop-skirted “Rebel” Rose O’Neal, “Wild” Bill Donovan, Julia Child, Elizabeth Bentley, Karl Koecher, and Vitaly Yurchenko. Be sure to look out for spies along the way — there’s always one or two in your midst…
