What people are saying about Versailles
This was the very BEST way to see all of the behind-the-scenes of Versailles. We started our day at the train station in Paris where we met up with our group. Our guide, Robin, was incredible-so friendly, inclusive, and knowledgeable of Versailles and Paris, in general. From there we traveled to the town of Versailles, we walked to the market in Versailles to buy our picnic provisions for our lunch picnic on the Grand Canal. We then walked to the garage of Blue Fox Travel where the bikes are kept, got our bikes and helmets, packed our lunches in the basket on the bikes and took off on bikes to Versailles! Riding along the Grand Canal and seeing all of the structures on the property includng Marie Antoinette's Estate, farm, animals, gardens, the King's summer home, and the Palace. ALL incredible. Got much information of history and had a wonderful time! Don't hesitate-Book now!
The tour was excellent. The was exactly as described. We left from the indicated location on time and arrived at our destination as indicated. Our guide was engaging, informational and friendly. He provided a great history of the area and answered any questions. The biking was not difficult and the market shopping was a great experience. The tour was just enough time to complete all of the activities and have enough free time.
It was the highlight of our holiday trip!!! Cecilia was our guide, super attentive to everyone taking thw tour: curious kids as well as grown ups. I signed up with my friend and had lots of fun riding the bikes, putting together our picninc basket and just learning and walking with the group. I would 1000% do this again!
The best way to see Versailles! We enjoyed the ride very much! The tour company is well organized and professional! This is definitely one of the highlights of our trip to France!
