What people are saying about Venice

Both sites are absolutely incredible! Basilica is a must see

My sister and I were expecting good things from this tour, but it was far far better than that! We easily found the meeting place. Everyone gets a headphone set so you can always hear your guide, and ours was called Rosanna. She was so lovely, upbeat, friendly, and funny. We did the Basilica first and we were lucky to be in there when it was illuminated and it was absolutely beautiful (it is usually only illuminated for mass and other than that for one hour a day). The Basilica also hosts an amazing artwork entirely made of gold and just under 2,000 jewels. This was information provided by Rosanna, and a lot of what made this tour good was all the facts she told us. It would not have been half as amazing without context. Then we did the Doges Palace where, as part of this tour, you actually walk inside and along the Bridge of Sighs, which we weren't expecting! Also the Doges Palace has the largest canvas artwork in the world, which was astounding to see. Two very happy customers!

Good price for what you got - shame about the weather

I enjoyed the boat rides - although none of the commentary could be heard if outside on the one boat with outside seating and not much could be seen through dirty windows when seated inside on the inside-seating only boats, although could hear description well. Unfortunately a thunderstorm hit while we were on the second island, which was ok as was a little town and could duck into shops etc., but it was bucketing down on the third island where it was all totally exposed and everyone got soaked as we were not allowed to stay on the boat (although there was small ferry terminal building nearby that many people crowded into to shelter for the hour). Enjoyed the second island, Burano, the most.

Punctual and lovely - just a bit crammed

I booked the morning on the internet and it is much cheaper than booking at the station. They had to get phone clearance with my booking number because it was done so late via the internet, but that was not a problem at all. The tour is very nice hopping on and off several boats. I suggest that they do a trip with only Burano and Murano to have more time to spend there. You really don't have enough time before you have to catch your next boat - next time I would actually spend the whole day at Burano.

Very special to visit 3 villas, but trip was too long at 9.5 hours

We especially enjoyed Villa Pisano and would have liked to see more villas. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and able to communicate well in Italian, English, French and German. She was very impressive. The boat had good air conditioning and sufficient, comfortable seating. To reduce the length of the trip: Could the boat go faster? Could passengers be expected to bring their lunch?

Great way to see the islands around Venice

I really enjoyed the tour. I had just enough time at each island (about 1 hour) to shop, take pictures and enjoy the atmosphere. I especially liked the glass blowing demonstration. The only negative was that the tour guide on the boat was hard to hear and I didnt know that I had to go the the ticket booth to get my boat ticket.
