What people are saying about Upper Yellowstone Falls
We toured Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks in a comfortable van. Our guide was attentive and informative, filling us in on the geological, natural and social history of the region while pointing out -- and stopping at -- places of interest, such as the Teton Mountain Range, Old Faithful, other geysers and geothermal features, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and its beautiful waterfalls and Lake Yellowstone. He had a keen sense of humor and the 12-hour trip seemed to fly by. We saw bear, bison herds, elk, deer and birds. I loved leaving the driving to someone else - first because the guide knew the best places to go, where to park and hike for the best views. I've been to lots of national parks, but this was my first guided tour. I would recommend giving this one a try.
Our guide, Rachel, an ecologist (school teacher during the off-season) was not only super knowledgeable and could answer just about every question we threw her way, she was extremely personable and a pure delight to hang with for 12 hours. We loved every minute of our tour. It was so nice not having to worry about blindly navigating the park...we could enjoy all the scenery and Rachel made sure we stopped at all the nice restrooms for fairly frequent bathroom breaks. The van was comfortable. The picnic lunch was delicious and hit the spot. We highly recommend this tour...worth every penny!
I highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Spencer, was amazing. It is a perfect way to see the lower loop in one day, with someone who knows the area, and without having to worry about doing the driving yourself. The picnic lunch was delicious and Spencer picked a beautiful spot. We saw all the highlights of Yellowstone and we were able to stop, take pictures, and get out of the vehicle at any time we asked.
Brian was just a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and gave us history and background of the park and geological formations. He took us to the best views - which wasn't always where the most people are.. My boys could have used a bit more time in the gift shops, but the actual tour was absolutely worth every penny. Highly recommend.
I had a great time on this tour. We had an awesome tour guide, Amy, who knew the best places to see around the park. She shared so many facts and made the tour so much more fun. I would definitely recommend doing a tour so you can see all of the main sites.
