What people are saying about Uluru / Ayers Rock

A stressful day with an extremely nice guide

There was too little time at every single stop. I would have wanted to just stand somewhere for 5 min and let the impressions sink in. We were in a hurry the whole day. The highlight of the day was the sunset at Uluru. We had the BBQ right there, which was great and there was a stunning view. But I thought I should have better booked a sunset tour without BBQ, as I had stress again with taking photos of Uluru, when the food was ready. But if you want to see a lot in 1 day, then this tour is good for you. The tour actually starts in Alice Springs in the morning and they picked me up at Ayer's Rock Resort at 11:45. The bus was not full but as people had spread over the bus, I sat in the very back. Our guide Trav was extremely nice and friendly and made everybody feel comfortable. We got some fresh fruit or sweets after every stop, which was great to keep people alive in this heat. There are also huge water canister on the bus. Everything was extremely well organised!!! My compliments!

Fantastic - The best way to see Uluru, Kata Tjuta & Kings Canyon

Oue experience was fantastic - It would have to be the best way to see Uluru, Kata Tjuta & Kings Canyon and learn some Indigenous lore. Our driver/guide , Phil, really knew his stuff. We got to see all the sights , at the right time (ie sunrise and sunset) with heaps of Indigenous information without having to worry about driving or time schedules etc (as Phil looked after that.) The hostie(s) looked after us at each camp with great food & wine for dinner...the glamping included wood floored tents, with comfortable beds, lights and power as well as hot showers... Loved it and highly recommend to anyone!

Excellent day trip from Ayers Rock resort

This is a long day from 4am but well worth it for the wonderful hike around the canyon rim. The requirement for 3litres water per person means people would need to drink a cupful every 15 mins and there wasn't anybody close to that. It's a big weight to carry for most of the 3 hrs when 2 litres would be more than enough and there's plenty of cold water and a nice cold towel back at the bus. King's Canyon is more spectacular than Uluru or the Olgas and not to be missed while visiting the red centre.

Amazing places, great people, memories for a lifetime!

This week was one of the best of my life. Everybody on this tour was super nice and motivated and we had a hell of a great time! Our guide Jase was just awesome. He showed us all the great places and secret spots whilst always being in a great mood. Because of him there there was a great atmosphere even on the days we got up at five in the morning. Together we cooked delicious meals, sat around the campfire and had a blast telling stories and joking around. I would immediately do it again!

Wonderful. Would recommend it to everyone.

The tour has been really amazing. Extremely welcoming and caring tour guides who taught us so much about Uluru, the culture, nature, just about anything. Had so much food, wraps, fruits, bbq at the end, everything was delicious, also they offered unlimited cold water. The bus was very new and luxurious. It was a fullpacked but interesting and unforgettable day. I would definitely do it again. Thank you.
