What people are saying about Tower of Pisa

Well organised in Livorno but not in Pisa don't be disabled.

We were somewhat worried about this trip as we had always trips organised by the cruise ship. We were pleasantly reassured at the meeting point by the female agent who was excellent, we were surprised to find we were traveling by double decker especially as my wife and I have walking difficulties but we found seats downstairs. However, no designated disabled seats. The trip to Pisa considering the dreadful weather, heavy rain, was uneventful and safe. We were a little confused by the map supplied and walked an extra 500metres in heavy rain also there is a reasonable walk from the bus park, which it would be useful to know before we booked. The return was not so good we were given conflicting times to leave, printed on the leaflet it was 1pm but this was contradicted by the agent who said 1.15pm. The knock on effect was that most people arrived back at 1pm we were back by 1.10pm to find the only available seats were upstairs. There was no attempt to help us climb the stairs!

Wonderful tour of Square of Miracles and a part of Pisa with Andrea

Andrea enthusiastically told us (3 of us on tour!!!) all about Pisa, it's history and the buildings on the Square of Miracles. She obviously loves Pisa and shares that with all those on her tour. I'm not sure anyone would dare to visit Florence after talking to her.. I definitely became pro-Pisa!! Got some great tips of where to eat and go out in the Pisan evening. Thank you Andrea!!

The bus trip and bus guide were excellent

The guided tour was so bad, we gave back our receivers after the first 20 minutes. The transmission and static made it almost incoherent and a waist of time. The guide himself should find a different job. Worst guide I’ve ever had even trying to listen to his disinterested canned speech. We almost missed the tour because instructions did not take us to the right location.

Pisa: Half-Day Afternoon Tour from Florence Reviewed by Theodore, 10/14/2019

Tuscany experience - long day but lots to see

Wasn’t entirely prepared for this long day but it was a great experience overall. You will walk a lot and Siena and San Gimignano have steep hills. Lunch was delicious but the winery is more of a restaurant - wine was good quality but grapes are grown elsewhere. Guides were very organized and kept a decent schedule.

Excellent way of getting to know Tuscany!!

This is a perfect way to get to know La Toscana! The Chianti wine tasting and lunch was amazing and very enriching, tour guides were very good with historic facts. San Gimignano is a MUST and Siena is full of history. 100% recommended!
