Excellent! Great explanation of the variety of monasteries and more specially of the frescoes and imaging you can find inside. Apart from that everything was carefully explained how Meteora got its current shape. To top this off with plenty of time during all this to take pictures during riding and at the sunset place in the end. Very modern bus to drive us around and excellent driving.

It was good the only problems were, we were in a small full minibus so no social distancing was possible. We got to Dion and had about 40 minutes to look around. It’s quite sparse and large so there just wasn’t enough time to see it all in favour of having a coffee at the cafe nearby. The rest was exceptional especially the waterfall on Mt Olympus.

A relatively long day to reach the amazing sites of Meteora monasteries as the round trip transportation from Thessaloniki takes 5-6 hours. However, the places are not crowded with rejuvenating serenity. The lunch restaurant also has an amazing view of caves.

we had the most amazing day on this tour. I feel like everyone should see the meteora at least once as it is truly a breath taking place. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend this day trip!
