What people are saying about Temple of Athena Nike

Great for a very specific sort of traveler.

This one works better for people coming on super high season at peak hours, and will see nothing else in Athens but the Acropolis. We went at 5pm mid-June and entered through the South entrance. There was no line to skip - although the perk of having a pre-paid mobile ticket was worth it for me either way. Though somewhat imperfect, I enjoyed the audio tour and it did add to my experience. OTOH, my partner was happy letting me listen and summarize for him. Some issues to keep in mind, 1) The tour works without internet, but the app won't load without it. Pre-load the app before going. 2) The interface takes a bit getting used to. It ran well on Android, but was a bit buggy on iOS. I did not contact Clio Tours with any of these issues because I was unsure they would've had an immediate fix. Will say that they offered wonderful support - they contacted me both through email and WhatsApp the day before, and were responsive to my questions even past their advertised service hours.

Marvelous to see Acropolis! Very hard to follow the audio

First, we loved the skip the line ticket again. There was a line. We went right in. I purchased the audio tour for my daughters and I, because last time I visited the Acropolis I would have enjoyed a little explanation about the marvel I was looking at. The audio was filled with facts and information. However, it was somewhat difficult to know where and what it was talking about. This may seem ignorant, but what is "Bastien"? it kept talking about the bastien on the right and left and I did not know what it was referring to. I wish it had a few pictures with the audio to show which side and which structure it was talking about. I spent most of my time wondering "am I looking at the right thing?" There is a map... but again, it is hard to decipher which is structure 1, 2, 3... I ended up skipping a few and listening to the ones I could for sure understand. A contributing factor may be how windy it was on that day. However, with that said it's still amazing and full of facts.

No problem with tickets and an acceptable audio for the money spent.

We first asked the live tour guides outside Acropolis. They were absurdly expensive (60 euros per person). Then I checked this app. We bought the tickets with audio guide. A local representative rang immediately. He explained what to do. He was very polite. We used our e-tickets for 5 different sites with no problem. The audio guide was useful but not very comprehensive. Still, considering you only remember a few points from each tour, I would definetely buy audio guides from this app/website for other cities and attractions.

Mostly good, but hard to keep track of where everything is

The information was good but it needed more pictures of what we should be seeing. They had multiple entries where they were talking about a specific spot or statue and I could not find it for the life of me , and I know most of them aren't there anymore but I couldn't find where it should be . Also all of the information was from the construction and building and nothing after so we didn't even tell us why there was no roof . Still, the information was interesting and I did enjoy it 4 out of 5

An easy and great way to get a guided tour

My sister and I bought this digitally and downloaded the audio tour from our hotel rooms to our phones. We skipped the line and walked straight in!! The audio stories were good but there were a few little glitches where two stories would play at once. This happened when you got out of the app to take photos, which of course you need to be able to do. We just had to let the stories finish and then move to the next one.
