What people are saying about Tarragona

Great Family Fun day out - get there early for all the big rides!

Myself, my wife and our two daughters (14 and 10) had a wonderful time at Costa Caribe. The Waterpark is perfect for children of all ages. To benefit from all of the rides, you need to be at least 140 cm tall. We bought our tickets in advance. When you arrive, show your booking form and you will be let through the first gate. You then walk up a hill for about 300 yards and then you queue again to have your booking form exchanged for tickets. After that, you scan your ticket and you are in! The key to a great day there is to arrive when the gates open at 10:00. It was mid August when we went and we feared it would be heaving, but it didn't get busy until after midday. Head to the back of the park early on and you will catch the big rides - El Torrente is a great family ride. Pre-buy drinks/snacks from supermarkets...food and drink expensive. Locker hire is on the left as you walk in. Worth doing, as then you can stash your drinks/camera/food/money and go have fun!

Ab Fab day out to the Tarragona Hills villages

We had a great day out with Daan, at the Tarragona Hills villages, very knowledgeable and informative, lots of time to look round and we were lucky as the village we were in for lunch had a flower festival, lots of photo opportunities. Unfortunately the waterfall was out of water, but attractive scenery and walk to the waterfall, across an interesting stream bed, if you want to see water need to go when it has rained a lot. The views of the hills were very impressive, would do it again. Daan also arrived 10 minutes early and we were out for over 6 hours.

Fabulous wine tour and beautiful scenic tour

Excellent service from Salou Safari. Collected promptly from our hotel by polite and knowledgeable guides. Wine tour was very interesting and wine guide gave good unhurried description of the process for each wine with plenty of tasting as we went. No pressure to purchase. Scenic tour was brilliant and beautiful. Very lovely and romantic castle ruins. Nature and history so interesting. Our guides gave exceptional service and would use again.

Wonderfully planned and educational tour, amazing guide!

We had an amazing guide named Jordi. He was extremely well informed and we shared lots of laughs and great memories. The wine at each location was fantastic. We were welcomed by enthusiastic owners and toured the grounds and facilities. We especially loved the homemade lunch provided by the passionate olive oil maker. The views of the region are also breathtaking. I strongly recommend this tour.

A fantastic experience exploring historic sites

Our guide Vicente was fantastic, providing us with so much information about the history of Tarragona and Sitges. We got so much insight from Vicente about the region and tips for our stay in Sitges where they agreed to leave us at the end of our tour. Highly recommended.
