I have to say right from the outset: I am not usually the type who typically hires a guide when I travel: I usually prefer to read up ahead of time and take a self-guided approach once there. I only had a couple days in Krakow and didn't have much time tonl do my own research beforehand so I decided to take the plunge, splurge a bit, and hired Seweryn for his 2-hour tour of the Jewish Quarter. Boy am I glad I did! In addition to being extremely knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the area, he delivers the tour with a real passion for these subjects. Moreover, he is just an all-around nice guy -- a real gentleman with whom I was extremely happy to spend a couple hours. This was time and money SO well spent! I will definitely book another one of his tours the next time I come to Krakow!

My boyfriend and I did a private tour of Kazimierz with Seweryn and we absolutely loved it. Since we were both already quite familiar with the city and a lot of the more recent historic events that happened in Krakow, we asked Seweryn if he could give us a more cultural tour of Kazimierz and tell us about how people lived leading up to WW2. Seweryn adjusted the tour upon our request on the spot. He was so informative about everything related to Judaism and its culture and we visited a synagogue, explored off the beaten track alleyways and he told us many stories and legends of old Kazimierz. If you're looking for a more personalized and unique tour, I highly recommend this one!

I was the only person on the tour, I was messaged the night before asking if I could change my time because of ‘technical difficulties’ but they obviously didn’t want to run for just one person! but after notifying them that I couldn’t change because of a flight scheduled, they still ran it. I had an accident on the Segway and the tour guide was very concerned and cared to ensure I was okay before we continued and continued to make sure. The tour did only go for 1.5 hours, but I assume that was because I was the only one on the tour and we were able to go everywhere quicker than with a larger group. The guide was very knowledgeable and nice. I would do this again!

If all your guides are as good as Sev your training programme must be excellent. He was so personable, knowledgable friendly & above all passionate about his job. He went over & beyond what we expected from the tour. I cannot praise & thank him enough for explaining the history of the wonderful city of Krakov.
