Wow, this activity blew me away! I really enjoyed this trip, because within a day we were able to see Australian coastline, visit an animal park and feed the wallabies and emus, hike on the highlands with magnificent views, and even fit in a winery! Lunch was included, which was delicious and included ocean views! Steve is very knowledgeable and provided a lot of useful information about plants, animals and history. This trip was the perfect blend of seeing a lot but never feeling rushed; having this be a small group tour which also helps the experience. This was probably the best organized trip I have ever taken. This really was the perfect day out and felt very representative of all that Australia had to offer. I'm so grateful for Steve, who was able to organize this so well, and took us around such magnificent places. I will recommend this specific trip to all my friends and family who will make Australia their future destination. 10+ and 5 stars for this trip!
It is a perfect activity for a big fan of wines and cheese products as you are able to be exposed to a range of different products in which Hunter Valley is specialised. Yet, it might be slightly disappointing for those looking for more special experience because the tour does not feature too much of activities to do owing to the time constraints. In fact, we are only allowed to stay in the vicinity for around 3-4 hours with most of the time spent on commuting instead. Hope to explore the place more and it is suggested to include the visit to the factories there to learn about the manufacturing process which should be more fun. For one more thing, if you have a tight budget, you can consider going for the lunch at the cafe rather than gourmet lunch. The food in the former is also good but save you a lot more. All in all I would recommend this tour to others =)))
Went with some of my girlfriends and had such a good time. Made friends on our tour too! Our driver Cheeks was charming, funny and informative. The wine tasting was very good and saw some beautiful wineries. Also the cheese tasting was soo good, we were raving about it the whole way home. The driver went above and beyond allowing us to stop for photo opportunities and even seeking out some kangaroos for us to see and photograph. Lunch was also very delicious, everyone was very happy with their meals. A good value, varied, well planned out day. Couldn't fault it.
So much fun!! Beautiful wineries & wonderful company. A fantastic tour guide. And loved the personal touch ... thank you for our Honeymoon dessert. Very thoughtful!! Would def recommend to a friend.
High regards to our guide, Greg. He offered us an evening full of entertaining tales and information about the history of Sydney and the Rocks! Highly recommended.
