Full description
On this 3 hour tour you will have your own particular private guide & comfortable transportation in a business-class car. You will be met in your hotel lobby and the tour will be over close to St. Isaac Cathedral. It is a genuine challenge to squeeze into a 3 hour tour all of the greatest "must see" sights of St. Petersburg. However, from the first moment of the tour you will be overpowered by the magnificence, taste and mystery of our city, loaded with history.

You will begin the tour by going to Peter and Paul Fortress with the Cathedral of the same name, from which the town of Peter began in 1703, hurriedly changed into the capital of the tremendous Russian empire a couple of years after the fact. In the wake of strolling around the fortress and going to some of its' bastions, the visit proceeds to Peter and Paul Cathedral, where you can see the burial place of the Romanov dynasty, and even the tomb of Peter I. The last burial in the church building was Nikolas II and his family who were gunned down by the Bolsheviks in the mid year of 1918. At 12:00 from Naryshkin bastion Peter and Paul Fortress you will hear the shot of an alert weapon, which is made day by day.

A short time later, you will keep on investigating the city with your guide taking you to visit St. Isaac's Cathedral, one of the biggest domed structures on the planet. This production of Aougusto Montferrand, the French engineer is the fourth temple built to pay tribute to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia (saint patron of Peter the Great), created in St. Petersburg. It used to be considered as the primary Orthodox church of the Russian Empire. At long last you will climb the basilica corridor and take a look over St. Petersburg from the top.
