Full description
After meeting with your guide and driver on day one at the pier you will start a city tour. You will be guided through the most breathtaking spots of St. Petersburg including Spit of Basil Island, St. Isaac’s Square, Monument of Peter the Great, Theater Square with the famous Mariinsky Theater, Nevsky Prospekt and more. From the city center proceed to the former summer residences outside the city - Peterhof. This residence is famous for its fountain park decorated with statues and small pavilions. The most exciting part of the garden tour is seeing so called “trick fountains” which were designed to entertain the guests coming to the Peterhof grounds.

In the middle of the day you'll have traditional Russian lunch and then continue your tour to another tzar's residence, Catherine palace. Inside the palace see the golden suite of rooms and admire its most precious interior - the Amber Hall. On the way back to the city see one of the oldest and the deepest underground stations in the world. Upon your return to the city enjoy a visit to St. Isaac's Cathedral with one of the largest cupolas in the world. The tour will finish at your ship.

On the second day of your tour see more of the city highlights, stroll along Nevsky prospect and finally observe the magnificent collections of the Hermitage, the largest museum in the country. There, see all the main highlights: Winter Palace State rooms, Hanging Garden, and masterpieces of the art collection including works of Rembrandt, Rafael, and Leonardo Da Vinci. After having lunch in one of the local cafes (lunch is not included on Day 2) see the Church on the Spilled Blood that is considered to be the museum of mosaics. Finally, visit the newly opened Faberge museum with its great collection of Imperial Easter eggs, jewelries, paintings, icons etc. Afterwards, have a panoramic ride through the city center back to the port.
