Amazing trip, worth going in a larger group for their nice boats!
The service from the meet & greet staff and family was so warm even though we literally saw them only for the short time it takes to drive us to and from the hotel and during the wait for the boat at the marina. Looking at the boats that the family-owned company operates, we were a teeny weeny bit jealous that we weren't actually on one but we did book for a terribly small number of people (just the two of us) and rather last minute (the day before) and yet, they came up trumps and supllied us a good captain and a pretty good boat if a little smaller than their usual. The Captain was really informative about all the sights we went to see even though we could see he struggled a little on some of the translation. He made good recommendations and changes in the itinerary in view of the timing that we had. Would definitely sail with Restart again (and with a larger group) next time!
Parasailing was great but the booking experience was a fail
We booked the parasailing online. Captain Ago exceeded expectations. Highly recommend Captain Ago. Unfortunately, we booked for 5:30 to 7 pm time slot on-line. The following morning as we were on our way to the train station for a daytrip to pompei I received an email confirming that we were scheduled for 11 am. Only the 1 pm slot was available if we needed to reschedule. We were able to move our Pompei trip to later. But, we spoke to another group that was in Amalfi when they received that same email.
