Full description
First, after being picked up at your hotel, you will visit the Buckchon Cultural Center which provides information about Bukchon Hanok Village. The center shows exhibits and films relating to the history of Bukchon. It is a perfect starting place for visitors to get a cultural idea of Bukchon and its traditional Korean atmosphere.

Then, make your way to Jongmyo Royal Shrine built by Lee Seong Gye (1335-1408), the first king and founding father of the Joseon Dynasty. This was a primary place of worship for kings throughout the Joseon Dynasty and has been registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site for its well-preserved ancient customs such as memorial services and traditional music.

Next you will visit Changdeokgung Palace which virtually means means 'to brighten virtue. It is one of the historic attractions that represent the beauty of Korea. It has been called the 2nd most beautiful palace in Seoul.

The Story of King Sejong Exhibition Hall comprises of 9 different sections with a total area of 3,200 m2. Throughout the museum are a variety of displays detailing Sejong’s invention of Hangeul and his scientific, artistic, military, and political contributions (including the theory of Minbon, which recognized the people as the base of politics).
For the full-day tour, after lunch you will visit Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, an impressive structure from the latter part of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) and the official fortress of Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. The fortress (constructed from 1794 to 1796) was built as a show of the King’s filial piety towards his father Jangheonseja and to build a new pioneer city with its own economic power.
Finally, the Hwaseong Hanengung Palace is the biggest palace that was used by Kings since the Jeongjo King period. This is the temporary palace where King Jeongjo stayed at the time of Wonhaeng (long journey) and also where he held a splendid feast on Hyegyeonggung Hong, his mother's 60th birthday and other events.
