The Seine might be one of the world's most scenic urban rivers, flanked by exquisite monuments such as Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. A cruise is the best way to enjoy it as long as you don't forget anything essential! Here's what to pack.
Even if all's calm on the City of Love's streets, its river is exposed and highly susceptible to strong winds. Even in summer you might need a good jacket!
Again, the Seine is exposed and so are you. If you're not seeing the sights by night, you'll want to see them on a sunny day. Keep yourself protected!
Many of Paris' most famous sights can be seen by boat, opening the door to some fantastic photo opportunities. If you have them, enhance the experience by bringing binoculars too!
Unless you're taking a dinner cruise of course! But even then you should think about bringing your own water bottle.
Corny? Perhaps. But hey, it's Paris! Why not check out some other tour options to round off a romantic day?
A Seine river cruise can cost anything from €10 per person for a basic boat tour to upwards of €200 for a candle-lit, gourmet dinner cruise by night.
776 kilometers. Oh wait, you meant the cruise? With dinner and entertainment you could be looking at up to 4 hours, but if you don't have that kind of time to spare, the less expensive ones should only take an hour!
No warm greeting to welcome you on board, surprising given this is hospitality and you'd want a lovely greeting. The boat was big, yet even then no warnings for people not to sit too close to each other I practically had a woman sit on my lap. Scary in a pandemic. Audio guide signal kept dropping out, so gave up trying to listen. Horrific graffiti all over the city - why Paris? Good route and a different way to see Paris.
Please don’t say “voucher needs to be exchanged” and then just leave it there without any instructions how to do that. I was thinking that GetYourGuide was fraud. Until I called someone from this business and they said they were going to change it themselves. Instead the page should mention that they are going to send you the real ticket a night before. All this ticket-voucher system is very confusing.
Good experience Nice cruise with rooftop accessibility.I had the cruise experience just during sunset between 9 pm to 10 pm.I have one suggestion ,authorities must request passengers at the rooftop to wear mask too and seats and cleaned after each trip as a covid safety standard. Thanks
Our guide Vic was great! She was very knowledgeable, great personality and made learning the different histories of Paris fun! We loved this tour because it was a different experience from the traditional sites. We walked a lot, but we were having so much fun we didn’t mind that.
I had a great time. The hostess quickly switched to English so I could clearly understand. The mobile map made it easy to keep us with what attractions we were passing, but made it easy to just relax and enjoy the sights. I recommend this to everyone!
