What people are saying about Sausalito
Our bus commentator (not on every bus) was hilarious and informative. When we were on a bus without the live person, the recorded info was great to listen to as well. Doing the combo tour let us see alcatraz when tickets were sold out everywhere! Alcatraz was also a welcome surprise. So much cooler than anticipated. We listened to the audio and hopped back on the boat. Took about 1 hour. We were cramming our days so didn't have much more time to spend than that, but definitely worthwhile!
The Alcatraz tour was really well organised and very interesting especially the audio tour of the prison. The ticket for the bus was definitely worth the money as we got to see lots of the city and Sausalito. The guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The only criticism was the occasional long waits to get on the bus as they were very busy but the operators did their best to get everyone on as quickly as they could. I would recommend this tour.
Amazing service and the best way to see the city. So many stops to fill your day and busses were very regular. I recommend looking at the list of stops before going and not just hitting up the main places, but going to the less popular places too 10/10 go to the tea gardens and the palace of fine arts Would do this again for sure
Our guide, Nick, clearly knows the area and vineyards well. He gave personal insights and local knowledge so we could understand the differences in the 3 wineries we visited. Also gave relevant interesting comments as we passed through the country on the way to and from the Sonoma Valley.
Really enjoyed both the tours. The big bus guys never let us down no matter where we go with them . Very accommodating especially when I couldn’t fing our tickets in union square . I did eventually but at least they let us in the bus out of the cold and dark . Cheers lads .
