Highlights
  • Visit three parks in a single tour
  • Admire three palaces
  • Explore some of the off-the-beaten path neighborhoods of the city
Full description
Your tour will begin in the neighborhood of Egia, a recent corner of San Sebastian. From there you will head up to Cristina Enea, a hidden gem just 15 minutes of the town center. Walking along this park you will discover a palace that holds a love story, as well as numerous peacocks which live freely inside the city.

You'll then cross the river and head up to the main residential neighborhood of Donostia, Amara. There you'll go through the main aspects of the day-to-day life of the locals and the modern Basque society. It is an incredibly complex territory, but is so enchanting that you may just risk wanting to stay and live there like guide does.

After walking around Amara, you’ll head up to Aiete Park, which is one of the biggest parks in town yet one of the most unknown. You'll see immense trees, a hidden cave, and a palace where the most loved and hated personalities of the country stayed during their holidays. At the end of the walk you'll finally descend to the last park and palace, Miramar. In this place you'll learn how a Spanish queen put San Sebastian on the map during the "belle epoque". Your final stop will be a local bar or cafe where you will enjoy the lush green surroundings whilst sipping on a well-deserved hot or cold drink.
