Great sites, driver was super friendly. We weren’t able to eat at our leisure in the vehicle due to Covid which was a challenge in a 15 hour trip. We also could have condensed some of the sites. We never got to stop and take pictures at overlooks for those iconic Yosemite park views— that was a big disappointment. Only pics we took were up close to Points Of Interest like El Capitan, etc. Definitely does not need to be an 8 hour tour. Felt like driver was dragging it out a bit bc that’s what we paid for, but I would have preferred getting back earlier. That’s me though. Maybe provide a variety of trip lengths; 3 hour, 5 hour and 8 hour..... Also would suggest updating the excursion description regarding the waterfalls — as being a point of interest during the seasons when they are dried up— would have liked to know that ahead of time. Maybe plan on stopping at the river instead so people can get a water feature of some sorts when the falls are dry. Add a restaurant stop to tour.
I had a great time on this tour. I went with my boyfriend and another couple. We’re all in our early 40’s in various levels of fitness. This was a great ride for all of us. There were a few hills we had to go through but my friend and I just walked it. The guys were able to bike up. But our tour guide Steve was patient and didn’t rush us. I loved going around the city and learning about it’s history. Steve was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and entertaining. We all clicked with him right away. It was more like we were in tour with a friend leading us.
The stop for lunch needs to improve tremendously. Most restaurants required reservations. We walked all over the place trying to find a place to eat. We had to order a takeout, with no place to sit and eat. We found benches to eat that didn't have any shade. Going forward a restaurant needs to be apart of the agenda with reservations so that we may be able to eat in comfort. Also a guide aboard the bus is needed, we passed a lot of places of interest that should have been told to the tourists in details.
My food tour guide was amazing! She took us to the best restaurants, temples and a tea tasting at the end of the tour that was so much fun! I will never forget Chinatown, the history, murals and food that I have never had the opportunity to try before. The food was so delicious! I was so glad she sent us a list of all the places we went so that I could visit them again. I would recommend this to anyone.
Dylan's Tours was AMAZING. Detailed emails leading up to our activity with great suggestions on places to eat prior to and on the trip, plus what to bring. The experience itself was well organized by Dylan's Tours and overall our favorite thing we did while in San Francisco.
