What people are saying about Salisbury

Obviously because of the Covid-19 we arrived and told you had to pre-book which I found extreme frustrating having travelled many miles to visit Stonehenge. Fortunately we had decided to visit early on our holiday and were able to book online that night for the following day. It is some 40 years since I last went to Stonehenge and how has it changed. Now there is a wealth of information with guides who are only to happy to answer any questions.

Absolutely enjoyed the walk on a beautiful September day, to the stones from the centre. People were eating picnics and having fun by the stones. Very joyful lots of energy at the stones. After got the bus back to the restaurant and had a nice cool drink. Lovely day out.

Excellent experience, seeing it in pictures and on TV cannot provide the awesome feeling when actually there. Shame you cannot actually touch the stones though. Quite a walk from the entrance to the actual stones but buses are provided.
