What people are saying about Rome

This tour is pricier than the others, but the early entry really does make a difference. We were able to tour through the Vatican and to the Sistine Chapel before it gets insanely crowded. It was actually quiet and peaceful and we could truly enjoy the tapestries and artwork. Loved our tour guide, Renata (not sure of spelling). She made sure to point out things we should look at before we entered the Sistine Chapel (since there is no talking in the chapel). The guided part of the tour is an hour - a perfect length of time for a tour in my opinion. After that, you are free to roam the Vatican yourself. Be prepared! It is huge and vast. There is a lot to see and you could easily spend several hours there.

This was an excellent tour, and it was worth every cent to gain access to the Museums and Sistine Chapel with so few people there. We went back through the museums again later, with the regular crowd, and it was unbearably crowded and you couldn't see anything because all you could see was a crush of people. Plus the line up just to get in, for people who weren't on a tour, was way down the street for hundreds of metres in the freezing cold. Once everyone had arrived for our tour, we went straight in. Our guide Eddy was also excellent, funny and informative. I highly recommend this tour.

Great value for money, a must! When we arrived at the Sistene Chapel we were the first group in there, just 20 of us! There were a few more people when we reached St Peters but it was still relatively quiet. We then joined a queue (read 10 people) to climb the basilica - the basilica is cash only and no ATMs around so make sure you have 8 euro on you!

Simply wonderful. It was absolutely worth every penny and the early start to be the only people (there was 11 of us in the group) to walk down and admire the works in the long corridor to the Sistine Chapel. To then have the Sistine Chapel to ourselves (and another group of 6) was just amazing. Our guide Chiara was excellent.

I am very happy with the outcome. We bought this tickets to see at least some of the parts of museum without many people and it was worth it. Our guide Oscar was very nice and he told us many interesting things about the exhibitions which we had to go through.
