What people are saying about Rome
It was a super fun activity for our family on Mother's Day..something different to break up our at-home routine. Roberto and Denyse were informative and adorable! We only watched the class. Next time we will definitely make the food along with the chefs. One suggestion - Please send ingredient list as soon as possible after reservation so that participants have time to get them all together, especially now that it is harder to get certain things.
Well worth doing, for those of us stuck at home. We didn’t cook along, but those that did were having a great time.i took lots of notes! We might even have another go. It was clear, with good instructions and helpful tips. One issue is the way you advertise the timing. We only noticed when we logged in early that it was for US Eastern time. We are in the U.K., one hour before Rome, and one guy was in SAN Francisco, so cooking his breakfast!
It was a wonderful way to experience Italian cooking from home and helped bring a little bit of joy to quarantine. It was easy to make pasta with ingredients most people already have around the house. The chefs knew their way around the kitchen and were fun to interact with. Plus the pasta and sauce were absolutely delish.
Our Guide was great. The tour, however was too much like a lecture. Too much about all the emporers, ect. The photos of the Coliseum were very outdated, there was the old road surrounding it. I wanted to feel like I was walking through to Coliseum, past and present.
My adult daughter, Kaylee, and i did this together For Mother’s Day. Denyse & Roberto were great fun, informative and willing to answer questions along the way. We already signed up for another class with them. Can’t wait until the pizza making class!
