- See the Pantheon
- Take in panoramic views of the eternal city from the open-roof minibus
Admire the view of the Spanish Steps and your guide will explain how, according to tradition, if you throw a coin over your shoulder into the fountain you will eventually return to Rome. Toss in a penny and cross your fingers.
Continue to the Pantheon, the Temple of the Gods, originally built to honor the deities of Ancient Rome. Then on to Navona Square, built on the ruins of the Dominitian Circus, and now adorned by Bernini's Four Rivers Fountain. Your last stop will be at Gianicolo, a Roman hill overlooking the right bank of the Tiber. The eastern slope looks down towards the river and the historic district of Trastevere.
