What people are saying about Rome

This tour was a nice way to see a particular part of Rome. Our guide was great fun which helped us to gel as a group. The tasters were of good quality and variety and the wine was very nice too. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that in one place we were served our wine in a glass tumbler and in another place it was served in a plastic cup! That was a shame because I felt it cheapened the experience. However, we had a really good time with some lovely people from other countries.

The food tour is great as you get history and food in one package. We did the morning tour starting at Campo d’Fiori, so you’ll get to taste a variety of pestos, olive oils and balsamic vinegars, then it moves on to the standard tour (pizza & beer, fried rice ball, fried artichoke, antipasti & pasta dishes with wine and a gelato). Overall we walked about 3.5km. Our guide was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I’d recommend to skip breakfast if you go to the morning tour.

A fantastic way to explore this super interesting area and try some great tasty Roman treats in authentic cafes and bakeries. We ended up returning to the area (and one of the actual food spots on the tour) again the next day because we enjoyed it so much. Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable and we appreciated the Italian wine tips he gave us when we saw him out later that evening!

Our guide, Stefano, was nothing short of amazing. My family of 4 were the only ones on the tour. (Sooo glad it was not canceled!) He was so full of knowledge about Rome - from ancient times to present day - and he colorfully related the facts and stories to each of us as individuals, playing off our personalities. This was my favorite tour in our 9-day stay in Italy.

This was an enjoyable tour, and it was helpful having a guide to see some of the main things of Rome like the Pantheon, Spanish steps and Piazza Navona, as well as peeking inside some magnificent churches. It was a lot of fun, I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone still unsure about using a guide.
