Full description
Following a pickup from your accommodation, the first stop takes you to Hveragerð, known for its precious geothermal park. Then, marvel at the volcanic crater at Lake Kerið. Visit the church of Skálholt and learn how this historical site shaped the political, spiritual, and cultural life in Iceland for several centuries.

Continue the tour on to Vid Faxa, a beautiful waterfall in the salmon river. Then, head up to Gullfoss waterfall, which many Icelanders refer to as the queen of all waterfalls. Head in direction of the Geysir area in Haukadal, where you can watch the geysers, hot springs, steam vents, and blue algae. Marvel as the active hot spring of Strokkur, also known as Churn, spouts steaming water into the air every 5 minutes.

The last stop takes you to Thingvellir, where the Icelandic parliament, one of the oldest parliament in the world, was established. Enter Thingvellir and see how the earth is slowly pulled apart by the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates at a rate of a few centimeters per year. Stand where Viking settlers stood for centuries at the Rock of Law, the first Viking parliament.
