From start to finish we had a great day. The right level of knowledge imparted, great sense of humour, good team work from The Ice Man, as he’s known, and driver, sorry didn’t get your name, but you know who you are, you’re a great driver and speak excellent English!
This trip was without doubt a highlight of the holiday. The boat is beautiful, plenty of space and the crew are engaging and looked after us so well. They are accommodating and true to their word. There is a great atmosphere and the boat was very steady which made the trip more enjoyable. If you don't see what you have booked to see (nature isn't always at the ready) they offer hassle free return for another tour. We travelled twice with them and on our last night we were treated to an amazing display of the wonderful northern lights. Whilst other boats looked crowed and uncomfortable, this boat really had a personal feel as they don't cram it and their warm bar area lets you rest in comfort. Highly recommended.
Take a tour on this yacht, Mar, the captain and all the staff were so helpful, and knowledgeable. Whilst we didn’t see whales, sometimes this is nature and through no fault of the team we were invited back on board the next evening without charge to see if we could spot the northern lights - and we saw them !! Fantastic display ! Try the hot chocolate and rum !! Good way to warm up ! Highly recommend this tour !
Our guide was fantastic. He did not just tell about the attractions, but also history, culture and so on of Iceland and in a very informative manner througout the whole busride. This was my best spent money ever on a trip!
This was amazing! What an astonishing trip, we got to see so much whilst being entertained and informed on the bus. The driver was great, I felt very safe despite us driving through blizzard-like conditions. We also had a phenomenal tour guide (called Rock, and our driver was called Gummy Bear) who was very funny and full of stories about Icelandic culture and folklore. The pickup was smooth and easy, we had plenty of toilet breaks and stops for food and were given enough time at each location to explore and take photos. I would recommend taking your own food because (as is everywhere in Iceland) it is expensive at the stop. The Gullfoss waterfall was exceptionally windy to the point of discomfort so definitely prepare yourself for that, but it’s absolutely worth it for the stunning views and breathtaking scenery. The drop offs took a while as we went to every hotel and bus stop and ours (The Radisson Blue Saga) was one of the last, but I could not recommend this trip more!
