Full description
Experience Iceland in the winter and travel as far as the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon in the east on a 5-day package tour. Take part in unique activities, such as ice caving and looking for the Northern Lights. Marvel at stunning waterfalls, a geyser and glaciers and relax at the famous Blue lagoon.

Benefit from everything planned and arranged for you for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is not a dedicated group tour but a package of different travel services. You will receive a detailed itinerary and a dedicated service contact person to get the best out of your tour.

Day 1: Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik
Get pick-up at the airport and transfer to your hotel in downtown Reykjavik, where you are free to explore the northernmost capital in the world at leisure. If your flight arrives early, you can choose to soak in the Blue Lagoon on the way to your hotel and relieve all the stress from your flight.

Day 2: Golden Circle
Experience the icons of Iceland on a legendary "Golden Circle" tour, and take in the natural landmarks of Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir and Þingvellir National Park. Marvel at the dramatic landscape of the Geysir geothermal area and watch the Strokkur geyser spout hot water up to 20-25 meters every few minutes. Learn more about Icelandic history in Þingvellir National Park, where the rift valley marks the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Return to Reykjavík to spend another night in your hotel in the city center.

Day 3: South Iceland
Explore the incredible attractions of south Iceland, such as the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, where you can actually walk around and enjoy the view from behind! Then go to the stunning waterfall of Skogafoss before heading to the black sand beach at Reynisfjara to get some spectacular vistas. Continue east to the Skaftafell nature reserve and discover an area of unexpected vegetation between the white sheets of ice and the ash black sands. Finally, head to the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon to see enormous blocks of ice floating in the icy waters. End the day looking for the Northern Lights in the evening sky.

Day 4: Blue Ice Cave
Today starts with an ice cave tour at a natural glacier and includes a short hike to the cave, so put on your best hiking boots. You'll also need to wear waterproof hiking shoes that cover your ankles and warm clothes as you will spend at least 30 minutes within the ice cave. A helmet is provided for your safety, so bring a winter hat that is not too bulky. After seeing what a glacier looks like from the inside, return to Reykjavik and make another stop at the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Benefit from another chance to see the Northern Lights, and then spend your last night in a hotel in the city center of Reykjavík.

Day 5: Reykjavik
Today you can explore all the wonders of Reykjavík city center and discover its multitude of museums, cafés, galleries, restaurants, designer shops and bars. If you didn't get the chance to go to the Blue Lagoon on your arrival day, you can do so today before you head to the airport for your departure.
