I'll start off by saying that when I booked this activity (we went Tuesday, October 1st), I thought I'd booked a segway tour of the castle district (my fault, I'd gotten confused between this tour and another one) - but, having said that, I was glad in the end that I DID book this tour because it was an excellent way to see the (very large) Prague Castle complex and its various buildings/sections, mostly thanks to our local guide who was very informative but also very entertaining. It was refreshing to have a live tour guide, after having done so many audioguide tours by that point!
Fantastic night of entertainment and surprisingly good food considering the size of the venue. The actors and actresses were fantastic. An endless supply of beer, wine or soft drinks was provided all night by cheery staff. My only negative would be the lack of safety and visible fire escapes. The event takes place down a winding staircase so good mobility is essential. The hall was very atmospheric with dim lighting and lots of candles. My fear was the risk of a fire and only one visible escape route and no safety instruction.
The tour was very interesting and included a lot of information. The guide was well informed and spoken and patient with the crowds. Her stories were historically significant and kept everyone involved. She created a safe environment and always ensured she knew where everyone was as the palace was very crowded. This tour is worth taking.
The tour guide was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable on the tour. He obviously enjoyed his job. Overall it was a very good experience and gave us the confidence to explore Prague on our own following the tour. Good value for money compared to other similar tours available
Good food and enjoyable music while cruising on the river. The boat did stop for quite a while at one point which was OK but it would have been preferable to have been cruising the entire time. Overall, my group of 4 adults recommend this evening dinner cruise.
